The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is a central intensive research university located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It was established in 2009 as per the Parliament of India and is recognized as an University of national importance by the University Grants Commission.

द सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ झारखण्ड, रांची। इसे सीयूजे रांची के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, यह झारखंड के रांची में स्थित एक केंद्रीय गहन अनुसंधान विश्वविद्यालय है। इसकी स्थापना 2009 में भारत की संसद के अनुसार की गई थी और इसे विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग द्वारा राष्ट्रीय महत्व के विश्वविद्यालय के रूप में मान्यता दी गई है।

Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad (abbreviated IIT (ISM), Dhanbad) is a public technical university located in Dhanbad, India. It has main campus of 393 acres in Sardar Patel Nagar area of Dhanbad and recently Jharkhand Cabinet approved 226.98 acres of land in Nirsa for its second campus (total of 619.98 acres ), IIT (ISM) Dhanbad administration has plans to open more than 29 academic centers in this upcoming campus in Nirsa, Dhanbad. It is an Institute of National Importance. IIT Dhanbad is ranked among the most prestigious academic institutions in India.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar (AIIMS Deoghar) is a prestigious medical university and hospital located in Deoghar, Jharkhand, India. It is also one of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) that started operation in 2019. The Institute operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) and also among the Institutes of National Importance in India.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi (IIIT Ranchi), is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology, a group of 25 Interdisciplinary Technical Universities of higher education started by Government of India, focused on Information Technology. It is an "Institute of National Importance", declared by an act of parliament. At present, IIIT Ranchi is operating from its interim campus situated in Ranchi. 67 acres of land has been allotted for the permanent campus in Kanke, Ranchi. Construction has started and the campus will be ready by year 2023.

इंडियन इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ इनफार्मेशन टेक्नोलॉजी, रांची। इसे ट्रिपल I T रांची के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, यह भारतीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थानों में से एक है, जो भारत सरकार द्वारा शुरू की गई उच्च शिक्षा के 25 अंतःविषय तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालयों का एक समूह है, जो सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी पर केंद्रित है। वर्तमान में, ट्रिपल I T रांची रांची स्थित अपने अंतरिम परिसर से संचालित हो रहा है। स्थायी परिसर के लिए रांची के कांके में 67 एकड़ जमीन आवंटित की गयी है. निर्माण शुरू हो चुका है और कैंपस साल 2023 तक बनकर तैयार हो जाएगा।

National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur (NIT Jamshedpur or NITJSR), is an Institute of National Importance for Technical Education located at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. Established as a Regional Institute of Technology on 15 August 1960, it was upgraded to National Institute of Technology (NIT) on 27 December 2002 with the status of a Deemed University. It is one of the 31 NITs in India, and as such is directly under the control of the Ministry of Education (MHRD). It is the third in the chain of 8 NITs established as a part of the Second Five Year Plan (1956–61) by the Government of India.

नेशनल इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ टेक्नोलॉजी, जमशेदपुर। इसे एनआईटी जमशेदपुर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, यह झारखंड के जमशेदपुर में स्थित तकनीकी शिक्षा के लिए राष्ट्रीय महत्व का संस्थान है। 15 अगस्त 1960 को एक क्षेत्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के रूप में स्थापित, इसे 27 दिसंबर 2002 को एक डीम्ड विश्वविद्यालय की स्थिति के साथ राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (एनआईटी) में अपग्रेड किया गया था। यह भारत के 31 एनआईटी में से एक है, और सीधे शिक्षा मंत्रालय के नियंत्रण में है। यह भारत सरकार द्वारा दूसरी पंचवर्षीय योजना के एक भाग के रूप में स्थापित 8 एनआईटी की श्रृंखला में तीसरा है।

National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (NIAMT) formerly known as the National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT) is a premier public engineering and research institution in Ranchi. It was established in 1966 by the Government of India in collaboration with UNDP – UNESCO to provide qualified engineers and specialists for running foundry and forge industries. It is an autonomous and Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) by Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India.

Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi (BIT Ranchi) is a public technical institute (deemed university) in Ranchi, Jharkhand. It was established in 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi, by the industrialist B. M. Birla. The institute was later headed by G. P. Birla, and the present chairman of the institute is C. K. Birla. It was declared as a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act.

बिरला इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, मेसरा रांची। इसे बीआईटी मेसरा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, यह रांची, झारखंड में एक सार्वजनिक तकनीकी डीम्ड विश्वविद्यालय है। इसकी स्थापना 1955 में उद्योगपति बी एम बिड़ला द्वारा मेसरा, रांची में की गई थी। बाद में संस्थान का नेतृत्व जी पी बिड़ला ने किया और संस्थान के वर्तमान अध्यक्ष सी के बिड़ला हैं। इसे यूजीसी अधिनियम की धारा 3 के तहत एक डीम्ड विश्वविद्यालय घोषित किया गया था।
